Thursday 19th October marked the Northern MakeUK Regional Manufacturing awards, where manufacturing enterprises from across the North East came together for a night of networking, great food, and awards. The Fitfactory team were in attendance as we were graciously shortlisted by MakeUK for the northern regional Innovation award, and simply securing the shortlisting was an accomplishment in itself for us.
For the whole team here at Fitfactory, the recognition was a testament to the dedication and the transformative solutions that are propelling digital manufacturing to new heights. But the peak of the night came when Fitfactory was honoured with the regional Innovation award.
Coming off the back of the recent Tees Tech 'Company of the Year' win, this further award continues to bolster our commitment to our team, clients and our mission. 2023 has been nothing short of phenomenal for us here at Fitfactory. Building strong international partnerships and securing groundbreaking deals, we are poised for rapid expansion in the North East and beyond. The 'Innovation' and 'Company of the Year' accolades acknowledge the contributions to both the automotive manufacturing space and the broader tech industry that our team strive for.
However, this award is not an endpoint for us. It affirms the industry's belief that digital innovation in manufacturing is achievable with the right partners and approach. Fitfactory is now more motivated than ever to continue supporting local and national SMEs, fostering an interconnected community within the manufacturing and engineering sector.
We would like to congratulate everyone shortlisted for awards on the night. Some of the best manufacturing in the North East were present, and to see so many great winners and runners up proves that the North East has great potential that is being unlocked.
