A new interface across MES
Fitfactory MES brings together three modules: Scheduler, Shop Floor Data Capture (SFDC) and Machine Monitoring. All three now have a refreshed interface, with new layouts and features that give you more control over production from anywhere.
The biggest change is in Scheduler. Scheduler 2.0 adds 12 new features, some requested by customers and some built around common shop floor problems.
Scheduler 2.0: six headline features
Drag and drop
Select an operation and drop it where you want it. Rescheduling a job takes a few seconds.
Multiple drafts
Build two or three versions of the same week, compare them side by side, and commit to the one that works best.
Intelligent capacity
New statuses show whether a delivery date is achievable, tight or impossible before you promise it to a customer.
Why here?
Select any operation to see exactly why Scheduler placed it at that time.
Staff and tooling
Secondary and tertiary constraints mean an operation is never scheduled without the operator and tools it needs.
Freeze periods
Lock a schedule you have committed to, then plan around it without the risk of accidental changes.
Also new in Scheduler 2.0
- Multi-job work centres: pallet-loaded and bar-fed machines can run several jobs against real capacity.
- Excel import and export: move data in and out of Scheduler by spreadsheet.
- Job management upgrades: add jobs, link assembly levels and pull quotes in or out from one screen.
- Gantt chart upgrades: zoom, jump to date, a present-time indicator and rebuilt search filters.
- Colour-blind status options: new status colour palettes designed for accessibility.
- In-app help guide: guidance built into the interface so you can find your way around.
Works with the MRP you already have
Many manufacturers we speak to have outgrown spreadsheet scheduling but have no plans to replace their MRP. Scheduler runs alongside Tricorn MRP, connects to other MRP systems through its live API, or runs on its own.
Paired with SFDC, the schedule updates as work is booked on the shop floor. Add Machine Monitoring and you see which machines are running, which are idle and why, with live OEE and energy use.
